The College of Wooster is seeking a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Computer Science to start in the fall of 2020. Duties will include advising, teaching introductory, intermediate, and upper level courses in computer science, directing Senior Independent Study thesis projects, and participating in the College’s interdisciplinary programs including First Year Seminar.

Applicants with a background in computer graphics, networks or software engineering are particularly encouraged to apply, though applicants from all subfields will be considered. A Ph.D. in computer science is required.

Requirements

Submit through Interfolio a cover letter, CV, unofficial graduate transcripts, teaching statement, research statement, one-page diversity statement, and three reference letters. The Department is particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate a commitment to working within a diverse academic community, as Wooster enrolls a diverse student body, including 21% domestic students of color and 15% international students.
